The list showcases the biggest and brightest ideas in the newspaper industry ranging “from successful digital innovations, to strategies that helped cut costs, to revenue ideas that increased the bottom line,” according to an article published March 1 in E&P.
Through a partnership with NERUS Strategies, the paper’s 36-year old “Best of Las Vegas” feature grew from a once-a-year feature to a year-round digital platform. The result was an 84 percent revenue growth year-over-year and a transformation of both the advertiser and user experience, said Kimberly Parker, vice president of advertising.
